Rainy Day = A No Film Day
Hey it’s me again! It’s probably no surprise that my groups filming was delayed. The horrible weather made it impossible to meet. Today we were supposed to start the filming process but due to the unforeseen weather interruptions we couldn’t meet. My parents along with my other group mates thought it would be unsafe for us to drive in the hurricane type weather to start filming. We were planning on filming the opening scene with takes place in the car so, this was definitely the safe call. I am upset since it was the one day we could all meet and we are all always so busy it’s hard to make time. Luckily we had a backup day planned just in case this happened. My group and I are now planning on filming a few days from now and the weather app looks great. You can never really trust Florida weather though! Even though filming was a bust, my group and I got some stuff done virtually over the phone. I FaceTimed everyone and started to work on the website a little more. I have set up a Instagram account for the film and linked it to the website. This was extremely difficult since I already have an Instagram account so it tried to connect them. It took some researching and a lot of time before I figured it out. I also started to write the information that will be presented all around the website like our bio. Not only have I worked on the website but I also started to work on gathering props. I called my friends dad and asked if we could use his doctors office to film in. This would make our short film much more realistic and we wouldn’t have to set a bedroom to look like a hospital. The props would also all be there making it easier to get them all. He isn’t sure if he can make it happen because it would be a bunch of kids filming around a doctors office. He does gave a private practice though so he said he would let me know it a few days if we were able to. The time works out fine since the hospital scene will be the last one we shoot so we can wait. Anyways that enough for today, peace out!
