Switching the Group Up?
Don’t worry, the group didn’t totally break up we only had one member leave and a new one join. For this project I have decided to change my group slightly. My group mate Sarah decided she wanted to work with another group. So,I asked my new friend to work with me instead. I have chosen to work with Sabrina, Michaela, and Olivia. Olivia is the newest member we added to the group this time. Olivia just moved here from Turks and Caicos and is a teammate of mine on my soccer team. We hit it off right when we met each other and I knew right when she told me she had this class her and I would be group mates. Olivia is also really good with technology and loves to film. This skill is super important since we just lost our camera man. This also eliminates the stress of picking positions since she falls into the roll of the spot we were missing. I am also ecstatic about continuing working with my old group mates Sabrina and Michaela. Sabrina was very helpful creating ideas, gathering the props necessary, and making plans for both projects. This project is a larger task so, I feel that Sabrina’s skills will help us accomplish our needs faster and more efficiently. Michaela is extremely artistic while my group mates and I are not. This helped us design a realistic story board for both projects so far. I feel like this skill will be useful now more than ever as we have to create a much longer storyboard to go with this project. The more detail the better and Michaela is perfect for that. I chose this group even more so however, because we all get along. It is hard sometimes to find a group that all gets along and can work together effectively. Even though we have a new member joining us we all have similar interest and we are already all getting along smoothly. I also wanted to stick with Michaela and Sabrina because they were both hard workers that got everything in on time and did the work to help the group. I am so glad that I get the opportunity to work with a new member but also continue working with a few old group members too. I feel like my choice is group will turn out to be a positive one and the project will turn out moving along much smoother then it would be without this group. Anyways, peace out!
