I had so much fun being in the AICE Media Studies class for two years in a row. This film was so amazing to make and I had a blast. I'm so sad to be saying goodbye to this class. I hope to continue filming later on. Thank you for everything, peace out!

My Dad Peer Reviewed My Film

Hey, it’s me again back at it. I had my dad watch my short film to get an outside perspective. I have watched the film so many times while editing and re-filming that I needed a fresh mind to watch and check for any errors. My dad was first of all very shocked by the editing my group and I did. He said it looked pretty smooth and very professional. I told him that we used iMovie and showed him a few of the features we used to edit our film. He said that the use of iMovie for editing really added to the realism of the film especially the audio we added. My group and I used car crash noises and music to make the film better.   Hi, it’s me again back at it. My group and I are on to the editing process to make our film finally come together. I am not the biggest fan of editing. It is by far the most difficult part of the short film process for me. I never know which program to use or what transitions to include where. I have gotten a lot better at editing though, so I contributed a lot this time around. The first thing I did was put the clips into iMovie so I was able to get them in order. I had already had some scenes in there so I just added the rest to see the clips all together. Seeing the movie unedited was a little weird but it was pretty cool to see it seamlessly rather than just viewing the individual clips. Seeing the clips also helped me see a few things I wanted to change. My group and I were luckily all together so we could reshoot the few scenes that didn’t fit right. I then added in black screens that took the place of scenes like the car crash scene. I also added the transitions using iMovie.
