Storyboarding our way through this horror film!
First Scene- During this scene we will be filming a establishing shot of the haunted house. The location for this scene will be in front of one of the group members homes that is decorated to look scary and dark.
Second scene- For this scene we will be using a wide shot of the haunted house showing the 4 girls outside of it looking around. We will still be in front of the house looking for a way to get it.
Third scene- For this scene we will be using a POV shot of one girl looking through the window into the house. A title will be revealed on the back wall when looking though the window.
Fourth scene- For this scene we will use a long shot to show Sabrina turning to look at everyone and tell them a worried warning about entering. This scene will still be shot in front of the haunted house to show them debating on going in.
Fifth scene- Using a medium long shot we will show the debate between michela and Lola. Michaela giving another warning while Lola convinced them to all go in.
Sixth scene- Using a tracking shot we will show all of the girls walk in the haunted house. The door will slam shut and everyone screams.
Seventh scene : Using an over the shoulder shot to showcase Sabrina running to the door. A title will appear on the door. The lightning is very dark to represent that the girls are trapped and something wrong is about to happen!
Eighth Scene: This scene will use a close up shot to showcase the panic look on Sabrinas face as she struggles to open the door.
Ninth Scene: Using a long shot to show Sabrina as she turns around to tell the girls that they are trapped and the door will not open. The lighting is dim but shows enough light that you are able to see all the girls.
Tenth Scene: A wide shot and tracking shot is used to show Olivia distracted and wondering around the "haunted house", different objects are placed throughout. For example a knife is on the desk and a title appears there. The lighting is bright enough and highlights object that you are able to see in parts of the "haunted house."
Eleventh Scene: A long shot is shown to include all the girls as Michaela says "sorry to state the obvious but how on earth are we going to get out of here?"
Twelfth Scene: A medium shot is used as Lola tries to calm everyone down. It shows all the girls around with worried looks on their face.
Thirteenth scene: A tracking shot will be used to follow the girls as they explore and rub their arms to show they are cold.
Fourteenth scene: A close up shot of the floorboard is used while it creaks and the title is shown on there.
Fifteenth scene: A medium shot is used on Olivia as she says her dialogue and looks worried.
Sixteenth scene: When Olivia finds a scary looking mask on the floor and picks it up to scare the girls, a title will be under where the mask was.
Seventeenth scene: A tracking shot will be used to follow the girls as the panic sets and as they are trying to find a way out.
Eighteenth scene: A close up will be used on Olivia’s face as she jokes about who’s grabbing her leg, then when she gets dragged away a title will be placed under where she was standing
*All girls were separated*
Nineteenth Scene- Shows a closeup of Michaela’s extremely horrified face in dark lighting to show she’s extremely scared.
Twentieth Scene- Jump cut to a high angle of sabrina in another room trying to pry open a door. A title appears on the door somewhere.
Twentieth First Scene- Jump cuts to a medium close up and tracking shot of olivia pacing another room taking to herself about how she regrets going in. A title will appear somewhere around her in the room
Twenty Second Scene- Jump cut to Lola opening drawers and anything she can to find a way to get out. On the door there’s a open old book and title appear on it.
Twenty Third Scene- Using a medium close up we are going to go back to the room Michaela is in and show that she sees something on the wall and screams loud.
Twenty Fourth Scene- Using a tracking shot we will show Olivia go up to whatever made her scream and see an extreme close up of a spider. She sighs in relief.
*Titles can be presented somewhere inside the building*
Twenty Fifth Scene: Presenting Lola in a wide angle as it represents that she is alone and the rest of the girls have disappeared. The lighting used will highlight Lola and darkness will surround her.
Twenty Sixth Scene: It transitions into a POV shot as Lola shouts out the rest of the girls names again in a dark lighting.
Twenty Seventh Scene: A close up shot is used as Olivia looks around as she hears a faint / familiar voice calling her name.
Twenty Eighth Scene: the color begins to dim and fade away until in complete darkness and the screen turns black
Twenty Ninth Scene: Titles of directed by begin to appear popping up on screen
Thirtieth Scene : horror music returns from which is originally played in the beginning and the black screen continues for another 5-6 seconds.
