Group Meeting Canceled!

 Hey there, it’s me back at it. My group and I had a plan to meet the other day however, I wasn’t able to make it. I had work late that night so it was impossible to get there. My group and I decided to cancel it. I decided that we would push it back so we could all be there. The new plan is to meet in the next couple of days to tune up some final decisions. I want to decide what props we need to buy and make for the film. We need to decide this so I can assign everyone to a few props in order to have them all ready for film day. There are so many props we are going to need for our film so I want us to jump on that sooner rather than later. So far my group and I have definitely decided on the costume style we want. I have already picked out my costume. I am going to wear a casual pair of pants with either a t shirt or hoodie. The plan was casual but not too bright and I think that this outfit fits that category well. We also need to decide who will be our extra actor. Since one of the actors can’t make it, I searched for a new actor. I think my friend Eva would be the perfect candidate for the spot. I texted my group that Eva could possible be the fourth actor we were looking for. My group and I all agreed so, now I am going to talk to Eva about it and see if she up for the position. I also wanted to solidify a better film schedule. The past few projects had a very unreliable film schedule so, I want to make this one more reliable. As I am very busy with soccer, work and tons of school work, my schedules already extremely tight. I am constantly either doing hours of homework, working all night or on the soccer field practicing. I want to make my schedule fit with my other group member in advance so I am not improvising last second. Anyways, that’s enough for today, thanks for listening. Peace out!

My product challenged many conventions that are found in Christmas music videos. First , most Christmas music videos use snow or are filmed in a snowy area. As I filmed my video in Florida, there was no snow to incorporate in the video . Instead of snow I went a different route and filmed in front of decorated palm trees and showed my true Floridian Christmas spirit. Another way my product challenged the conventions was most Christmas music videos include back up dancers and all out costumes. Filmed The Opening Scene

  Hey, it’s me again back at it. Finally, my group and I were able to start filming our short film. Due to our recent delay in filming due to weather we rescheduled filming to today. I had everyone meet at my house at 3:30 with all of the props we would need for the first few scenes. One everyone got to my house I drove everyone to the empty street in my neighborhood where we could film the opening car scene. I was directing and filming this scene as my group mate Jack drove the car. The first scene was slightly difficult to film for me. I had to film a panning shot of the car and it was hard to time my filming with my group mates driving. Instead I suggested we show a wide shot of the car to show he is driving. Then I thought we should have our group mate sitting inside the car with a POV shot of what he’s seeing while driving. This plan was much easier to film and it in the end looked much better. Finally the group got together!

  Hey, it’s me again back at it. My group and I were finally able to meet up and talk out some of the details of our project. The first thing I proposed we talked about was the props situation. I decided that I would buy fake blood and cob webs. I already have fake blood from Halloween at my house so, it was perfect. I also am going to get some old looking sheets to put over places in the setting to make it look a bit more haunted. We officially confirmed that our filming spot would be at my house unless something comes up. My house in under construction so it gives a sort of run down feel. There are also many open lots and construction going on near by. I will have to make sure that there is no debris and we are all safe before we film but I think the spot should be perfect.
