Filming Blog: Finally started!

Hey it’s me again, back at it. You’ll never guess it. I actually started to get filming the movie opening. Surprisingly, we were all able to meet up and film there first couple of scenes that take place outside of the house. My group mate that was supposed to make it was even able to move around her schedule and come. The first thing I did was prepare the filming area we were using. Since we were filing at a old building/home near my house I had to make sure the property was safe and we’ll set up for filming. Everyone then met me at my house and we figured out our roles for each scene. My main role in this filming process was acting. I was in most of the scenes that we shot but I also contributed to the filming itself. Although it wasn’t my main job, when all four of us were in a shot I helped prop the camera up in the correct angle needed. I also helped the main person filming get the right angles in order to leave us room for titles. I set up my props which included mostly of just some cobwebs and a few others members set their props up and we got to filing. Even though we only filmed the first few scenes it took forever. The plan is to meet again Saturday or Sunday night at the abandoned house down the street. We are going to film as much as we can and hopefully finish. I wanted to do it Friday as everyone was available but I had a surprise soccer game come up that I cannot miss. There are many more scenes to film and everyone in the group is going to have to be there for this segment of filming. We are hoping to finish by next week so we are able to have plenty of time to edit. I think that editing will be the hardest part of this process. This is because none of us are the best as it and it’s a very new type of editing we have never tried. Anyways, that’s enough for today peace out!
