Filming when?
Hey, it’s me again back at it. School has been super stressful with spring break nearing. Every teacher is cramming in last minute tests and assignments which has been taking up a lot of my time. My work schedule with spring break is also crazy and I’m working almost every night I’m not playing soccer. With all of this, it has made it almost impossible to get with my group and start the filming process. I know it will take a few days to complete filming so we need to get started as soon as possible. My group and I did schedule our first film date though. I decided we should try to start filming before spring break so we don’t have to worry too much while everyone’s traveling. So, we are going to film on Thursday night this week. This was the only day this week everyone in my group was able to make it. I have after school so it will only be for a few hours but that is better than nothing. I already have gotten all of my props that I was assigned to as well so, I can bring them Thursday. I had to go to the dollar tree and get the pull cotton to make the cobwebs for the setting. I already had the fake blood left over from Halloween and a few raggedy old sheets although I did get a few more. We are planning on filming the first six or so scenes of the opening sequence on Thursday. For these few scenes we will mostly be on the outside of the house. We will start filming when it’s starts to get dark so you it looks more haunted and scary as the film progresses. I don’t think my house will look scary enough on the outside so I proposed for the first few scenes that we film in front of an old apartment building in my neighborhood. Everyone was in agreement so that’s our current plan and if anything changes I can add a few thing to make my house little a little more freaky. I can’t wait to get filming and getting to the fun part of this project. Anyways see you guys next time, peace out.
