Finally we are all done!

Hey it’s Lola again back at it. Editing and filming are both done what??? This project has been so much fun with all the creativity we put into it and how much we have all learned because of it. I loved making this music video and even as stressful as it was I still enjoyed the project. I also really liked how many ideas my group could incorporate in our video. I am almost done with the entire project but I wanted to take that last step to make it as good as possible. The last step of this project that I did was export my video. I went through google and used the waffle to publish my music video to YouTube. I have only published a video once before, for my commercial. It took me a while to remember how to do it but after I did, it was easy. I then shared my music video with a few friends and family to get their feedback on it. Most everyone said it was perfect and there was nothing I should change but I did get a few critiques from my dad. He recommended that we should cut down the first scene to be a little shorter or cut it out completely. This critique was very helpful. I was already a little iffy on whether or not we should include such a long first scene so the tip was useful. I told my group about the tip and we cropped down some of the first scene and it looks so much better. It also helped the video fit in the time limit better. I also was told that we should try to be more serious so we can better practice are acting. He said to leave the laughing and that there was no need to change it because, it fits with the Christmas joyous theme and brightens up the music video. However, he said we need to act like real actors and cut down on the playfulness next time we are filming a project. I found this critique very helpful because controlling the laughing and goofing around was a main struggle my group mate Sarah and I faced. I think as a group hearing this, it really showed us we needed to be more serious. However, I believe that most of the laughing in our video was truly acted out laughing for the project. After we changed the first scene and watched to see if our laughing was too much we were finally done with the project completely. Anyways, it was so much fun talking to you about my music video feedback peace out!
