Almost done editing!

We are almost completely done editing! Some final touches need to be added to the commercial to make it prettier and cleaner but the overall film and editing is done. I am sadly not the most tech savvy person so editing was on the harder side for me. I have never been able to figure out all the cool editing features for any videos I made even though I love to be in front of the camera. Luckily some of the members in my group could help me out this time and we all split up the work. We all pitched in a little to help the editing process. My task was to import the Twizzlers logo and slogan into the commercial. I couldn’t decide where I wanted the logo to pop up on the screen when editing. Initially, I wanted the logo to dissolve onto the screen but the idea did not look right with the commercial. I finally decided that I wanted the logo to to pop up on the screen over the final scene with a transparent background so your still able to see the scene behind it. I also inserted a background sound of someone saying the Twizzler slogan and set it to play when the logo popped up. I had the slogan pop up on the screen with the logo as well. This editing process took a lot longer than I had expected. I am extremely indecisive so it took me forever to decided what logo picture to use and how I wanted it to look in the commercial. There was also multiple slogans that Twizzlers use so I had to decide which one went best with the theme of our commercial. After I decided on these things I realized I had no clue how to do it. The way I decided to edit the commercial was on the more difficult side compared to things I could have done. My group-mates even had difficulty helping me out and we couldn’t figure it out. I had to watch a million YouTube videos and have family members help me insert it. After 30 YouTube videos and a frustrated brother, I finally learned how to insert it. It took a while but I’m happy I figured out how to do it because it looks so much better then my initial ideas. My part the editing is luckily done and now I just have to help my group mates finish up the final few key touches. Anyways that’s enough about how hard editing was for me, peace out!
