AICE Media Studies

  My group is doing a Twizzlers commercial. In these commercials people are usually trying to keep a straight face while being teased by a Twizzler.   In other candy commercials the candy being advertised is always in the frame and somehow being showed in a colorful/happy way. The commercials are always very catchy and aimed to give the viewer something entertaining to watch to convince them to buy that candy. . In these commercials all the people are usually wearing colorful/casual clothes. However, the costumes are not usually shown because of the angles used.  . Props include twizzlers, and anything used to make the commercial more comical. . The appearance of the actors usually have fun and exciting looks on their faces and are most of the time laughing or messing around.  .   I am very excited to be working with my group on this project. Each member of the group brings something useful to the production of this commercial. Sarah, one of my members is good at time management and is very tech savvy. She will be extremely helpful with the editing and filming portion of the commercial. I have known her since middle school and have over time realized that she takes her work very seriously and strives for the best grade possible. Sabrina, another member of my group is extremely creative. Her ideas will assist in creating a unique way to advertise our chosen product. Sabrina and I have been friends ever since the first grade and she has always been so imaginative and creative. I trust her so much and I couldn’t imagine working with anyone else.   Hi my name is Lola Mackie. I am so excited to be in this AICE Media Studies class and learn new skills I have not yet developed. I am not a very artsy or technological student however, I love creative writing and being in front of the camera. One of my main goals to achieve in this class is to better my editing. Now here is an inside scoop on my life outside this class. First, one of my favorite things to do is play soccer. I play travel and varsity high school soccer. My favorite position to play is the right wing or forward. I play soccer at least 5 days a week and one day I am hoping to play college level soccer on a scholarship. In my free time the best thing to do is hang out with my friends. We love to go to the beach and binge watch movies. When I am not playing soccer, hanging out with my friends or doing school I am working. I work as a hostess at a restaurant on the beach.
